For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the Data Controller for any personal data you provide.‍‍ ‍

Should you wish to request any data deletion please email: info@shadowedpathpsychology.co.uk‍‍ ‍

2. Nature of Our Services

Our workshops, courses, and digital products are educational, informational, and wellbeing-focused.
They are not a substitute for:‍ ‍

  • therapy‍ ‍

  • counselling‍ ‍

  • mental health treatment‍ ‍

  • medical advice‍ ‍

  • crisis intervention‍

We teach psychological ideas using creative, horror-themed, and pop-culture-inspired methods. We help people learn, reflect, and build skills — but we do not diagnose, treat, or provide therapy. Participation does not create a therapeutic relationship, nor does it constitute psychological treatment.‍‍ ‍

Should you require immediate support or are experiencing a mental health crisis please utilise the following options:‍ ‍

  • Call 111 for free. A trained mental health professional will be able to offer assessment and support. Also use this to access Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHT) teams.

  • ‍Call 116 123 for free or email jo@samaritans.org. Open to people of all ages 24/7. Use this to contact and talk to a Samaritans listening volunteer.

  • Contact your GP within business hours.

‍ If the above options do not resolve the mental/physical/medical health crisis and you need immediate support to remain safe, please call 999 or attend an Accident & Emergency department (A&E).‍‍

‍A contract is formed when:

  • ‍you complete checkout, and

  • ‍you receive a confirmation email.

‍‍4. Prices and VAT

‍All prices are listed in GBP (£).
If VAT becomes applicable in future, this will be clearly stated.

‍‍5. Financial Accessibility & Sliding Scale Policy‍ ‍

5.1 Community Access Rates‍ ‍

To support financial accessibility, we offer reduced "Community Access" pricing on selected live workshops, on-demand webinars, and digital resources. These rates are designed specifically for individuals experiencing financial hardship, including those on low incomes or receiving government benefits.‍‍ ‍

5.2 Trust based Self-Selection & Fair Use

Community rates operate primarily on a trust-based, self-selection model. By selecting a Community Access ticket or applying a concession discount code, you confirm in good faith that you meet the criteria for financial support.‍‍ ‍

5.3 Limited Allocation

Community Access slots for live events are capped per cohort to maintain business sustainability. Once sold out, standard rates apply. On-demand resources are not subject to capacity limits.‍‍ ‍

5.4 Misuse

We reserve the right to review eligibility or cancel bookings made using concession options without refund if we have reasonable grounds to believe the policy is being misused.‍‍ ‍

6. "Pay It Forward" & Community Hero Sponsorship Fund‍ ‍

Customers have the option to purchase "Pay It Forward" or “Community Hero” add-ons or contribute to funding the continued provision of reduced price “Community Access”.‍‍ ‍

6.1 Allocation of Funds

All "Pay It Forward" contributions and community fund donations are processed through third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or Squarespace Payments). These platforms charge standard merchant transaction fees (typically between 1.5% to 3.5% + transaction fees).‍‍ ‍

By making a Pay It Forward contribution, you acknowledge and agree that 100% of the net contribution (the total amount donated minus third-party processing fees) will be allocated to support provision of reduced price access for others.‍ ‍‍ ‍

You cannot select who gains access to what through your donation. ‍ ‍‍ ‍

6.2 Non-Refundable

Contributions to the Community Hero/Pay it Forward are voluntary, non-refundable, and do not constitute a charitable donation (as we are a trading business). They carry no rights to service delivery for the donor.‍ ‍‍

7. Transparency & Aggregate Reporting Clause‍ ‍

7.1 Impact Reporting & Anonymized Metrics‍ ‍

To demonstrate impact, and ensure accountability we periodically publish aggregated, anonymized metrics (such as total tickets funded, total funds raised, or sales volume across pricing tiers).‍ ‍‍ ‍

These statistics are purely numerical, contain zero personal identifiable information, and will never identify donors, recipients, or individual ticket buyers.‍

8. Access to Digital Content‍ ‍

When you purchase a digital product or workshop replay, you will receive access immediately or within the timeframe stated at checkout. All products are accessed via email, you are responsible for checking your junk mail folders to ensure purchases are not lost. ‍‍ ‍

For live workshops a link will be shared via email, approximately 48 hours before the event. You are responsible for checking spam/junk folders.‍‍ ‍

Access links must not be shared, uploaded, or distributed.‍ ‍

9. Cancellations and Refunds‍ ‍
